DXtrade Becomes One of Two Platforms Approved by…

Devexperts’ DXtrade platform has received approval from Indonesia’s Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency, allowing commodity futures and derivatives brokers supervised by Bappebti to seek licences to use the software.

Devexperts said the approval was granted in August 2026 after a regulatory review and makes DXtrade one of two authorised trading-platform providers in the market. The announcement did not identify the other provider or link to Bappebti’s approval decision, so the exclusivity claim remains attributable to Devexperts pending confirmation from the regulator’s public register.

Approval Opens DXtrade to Indonesian Derivatives Brokers

Bappebti sits under Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade and supervises commodity futures and derivatives activity. A platform approval differs from a broker licence: it makes the technology eligible for use but does not authorise Devexperts to provide brokerage services or allow an individual firm to operate without its own permissions.

DXtrade is a white-label platform covering several asset classes. Devexperts provides the software to brokers, exchanges and other financial companies that apply their own branding, product set, execution arrangements and compliance controls.

The company recently used the same platform as part of a turnkey US-equities stack for South Korean brokers. Other deployments have focused on FX, CFDs and proprietary trading, including a DXtrade and Nobosso integration that passed $1 billion in reported prop-trading volume.

Devexperts Plans a Separate OJK Application

Devexperts said it intends to seek approval from Otoritas Jasa Keuangan in the coming months. OJK supervises banking, capital markets and financial services and has responsibility for digital financial assets and crypto assets.

The Bappebti decision may provide the company with a local regulatory track record, but it does not predetermine an OJK outcome. Each authority applies a separate perimeter and approval process, particularly after Indonesia moved crypto supervision toward OJK.

Charmaine Athaide, Managing Director for Asia-Pacific at Devexperts, said: “The approval of DXtrade by Bappebti is meaningful, enabling us to bring our flagship platform and its ample benefits to commodity futures and derivatives brokers across Indonesia. We see significant potential in the Indonesian market and are pleased to now be able to support this as one of Bappebti’s two authorized trading platform providers.”

Athaide added: “The approval by Bappebti puts us in a strong position for further regulatory approval by other supervisory bodies in Indonesia, including OJK. We intend to seek approval from OJK in the coming months in order to enable us to serve Indonesia’s significant digital asset market.”

Platform Choice Remains Separate From Broker Execution

DXtrade provides the client interface and brokerage controls, but execution quality still depends on the broker’s liquidity, routing and risk arrangements. Devexperts has built integrations with third parties to address those functions. Its Your Bourse integration connected DXtrade to liquidity and routing tools, while Brokeree added a DXtrade liquidity bridge.

The platform has also expanded client-facing functions. Pelican’s copy-trading service was added to DXtrade’s white-label offer, and more recent web and mobile updates gave brokers additional interface controls.

Regulatory Documentation Is the Next Verification Point

For Indonesian brokers, the approval reduces a technology procurement obstacle by placing DXtrade inside Bappebti’s accepted framework. The next evidence of market adoption will be the identity of locally licensed brokers selecting it and the precise products authorised through each deployment.

Publication of the underlying Bappebti decision or an updated regulator list would also clarify the approval’s scope and confirm the claim that only two platforms currently hold the status. Devexperts said it employs more than 800 engineers and has supplied capital-markets software since 2002.
