DXtrade, the multi-asset trading platform developed by Devexperts, has integrated with KuCoin to provide brokers licensing the platform with access to spot and perpetual futures liquidity. Announced on 27 October, the arrangement connects DXtrade brokers to KuCoin’s Market Maker Support System, which combines trading incentives with funding and technical support for institutional market makers.
The partnership gives brokers an additional venue and liquidity framework to consider as they build digital-asset offerings on DXtrade. The announcement does not disclose the number of brokers expected to use the integration, the assets or trading pairs initially available, or commercial terms between the companies. Its stated scope is access to KuCoin’s aggregate liquidity for spot and perpetual futures markets through the platform.
KuCoin’s Market Maker Framework
KuCoin’s Market Maker Support System is designed to attract and support firms that provide liquidity across its markets. The programme includes exclusive fee rates and reward programmes for USDC pairs, newly launched futures pairs, and over-the-counter and fiat markets. The company also offers an interest-free OTC lending programme, unified account capabilities and cross-currency margin support, as well as quantitative asset management services.
Those features are relevant to professional market makers because liquidity provision involves more than access to a matching venue. Firms need to manage inventory, funding and operational connectivity across the markets they support. KuCoin says the unified account framework allows trading activity to be managed through a single account, while cross-currency margin provides flexibility in the use of funds. The announcement describes these capabilities as components of its support system; it does not publish liquidity or execution statistics showing how the integration has affected trading outcomes for DXtrade brokers.
Connectivity is another part of the offer. KuCoin says its dedicated solutions can reduce matching latency to as low as three milliseconds, and that it provides high-performance APIs for high-frequency trading alongside 24-hour technical support. These services are aimed at institutional market makers, whose ability to quote continuously and adjust pricing quickly can affect the depth available to brokers’ clients. Actual performance for a broker will depend on its own connection, configuration and access arrangements.
A Crypto-Focused Interface Within a Multi-Asset Platform
The integration comes after DXtrade introduced a dedicated interface for cryptocurrency trading. The interface is designed around tools familiar to digital-asset traders, including an exchange-style order book with cumulative or stepped volume backgrounds and standard or ladder price layouts. Users can size orders by asset quantity, quote-currency value or a percentage of available funds, and can place trades directly from a chart.
These controls address different parts of the trading workflow. The order book presents market depth in a format commonly used on cryptocurrency exchanges. Flexible sizing lets users express orders in the asset they are trading, in a quote currency, or relative to available funds. Chart-based execution places order entry alongside the market information a trader is reviewing. The company says the interface is available on web and mobile, including through a dedicated white-label mobile application.
For brokers, a white-label platform can provide a way to offer a branded trading environment without building every component from scratch. DXtrade says clients can adapt the interface to their own design and branding. Its open APIs are intended to support third-party integrations and allow brokers to choose how the platform fits into their technology stack. The KuCoin integration adds liquidity access to that platform proposition, while the interface update provides a user-facing workspace for crypto products.
What the Integration Means for Brokers
The announcement places the integration within a broader effort to give brokers more flexibility over their product and technology choices. A broker licensing DXtrade can access the platform’s trading tools and connect to KuCoin’s liquidity services, while retaining the ability to configure branding and add integrations through APIs. That can be useful to firms seeking to offer digital assets alongside other instruments through a familiar brokerage platform.
Still, access to a liquidity provider does not by itself determine the quality of execution or the full client proposition. Brokers will need to assess the markets and instruments they intend to offer, their execution arrangements, platform configuration and applicable legal and compliance requirements. The announcement does not specify which markets will be enabled for individual broker clients or whether every broker using DXtrade will receive identical access.
KuCoin’s statement framed the partnership as a way to connect with new audiences and make digital-asset trading more accessible. Borislav Alendarov, Head of Trading Operations at Devexperts, said third-party integrations that help clients optimize their offerings are central to the company’s approach. Neither company disclosed financial terms or a timetable beyond announcing the integration.
The partnership also follows DXtrade’s launch of its crypto-focused trading interface earlier in October. Together, the announcements address two separate pieces of a broker’s crypto offering: the interface through which clients monitor and place trades, and the liquidity services that can support those trades. The companies have not provided performance data for the combined arrangement, so its practical effect will depend on adoption by DXtrade brokers and how the integration is configured.
Takeaway: DXtrade brokers can now connect to KuCoin’s spot and perpetual futures liquidity framework, while the platform’s new crypto interface supplies exchange-style order-book and order-entry tools. The announcement adds an option for brokers building crypto services, but leaves adoption, execution performance and commercial terms undisclosed.
